Wow... I blinked and August was over! I'm not really sure where it went?! But that can only mean one thing... HAWKEYE FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!!!! Joel and I are pumped up for a GREAT season!!! I can't believe the season opener is already this weekend! Before we get too carried away with September, I thought I had better finish wrapping up August. As far as our house goes, we have our doors and windows all installed (with the exception of one patio door on the backside of the house), our garage floor and front stoop got poured Monday, the shingling has been underway for the past 2 days, and our plumber/electrician/HVAC crew is supposed to be starting TODAY. The further we get, the more exciting it is! I have been to about 15 different flooring places, and have honestly gotten entirely different recommendations from all 15... no joke. And I'm not talking different as far as brands go, but rather just which TYPE of flooring would be best for our kitchen, living room, etc.... I never knew flooring would be such a headache!
Aside from the house, one of Joel's good friends from college (Kevin) is getting married in November. We had the bachelorette party for his bride-to-be, Kelly, just this past Saturday and truly had a great time! But I still don't understand how women just get ONE DAY for these celebrations, but yet men get days and days of bachelor parties. Kevin's bachelor party was a Friday thru Sunday ordeal in the quad cities a while back, but yet since we were going to have Kelly's bachelorette party on Saturday, the guys decided to go to the quad cities yet again for golf and good times. Lucky devils:o)

All three of our nephews are just so dang cute that I can't help but take a gazillion pictures of all of them. I am so anxious to get that FOURTH nephew in December!!!!!!!
