The house progress has been crawling at a snail's pace lately. I've been really stressed out over it since the weather is going to start changing really soon, and I would REALLY like to get in our house before winte... oh i can't even say it! I'm not ready for that next season at all! When we chose contractors, we chose a company that does HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. They assured us that they would send separate "crews" out to work on each aspect of the house simultaneously so that we could be done in no time. Unfortunately, they decided to send us ONE GUY to do EVERYTHING instead. So you can just about imagine how slow that 1 guy is moving, and how frustrated Joel and I are over the whole situation. The owner said when he bid our job, he had the intention of sending us different crews, but "other jobs came up". I don't care about other jobs! I just want my house done! : ) We had to push the insulation and drywall back yet AGAIN, and probably won't be ready for that for another couple weeks at the rate this guy is going: ( We started bricking last night after work, and are going to again tonight after work for a few hours. Hopefully this weekend and next week we can hit it hard and get the back and east side bricked! All of the gas lines, waterlines, ductwork, and plumbing are done, and they just started the electrical today from the sounds of it.
