Orchard and outdoors

Sunday was a gorgeous day!  Since Joel was in the field, Malea and I ventured out for a funfilled day outdoors to take advantage of the gorgeous weather.  The Ballard boys had a slumber party with us Saturday night, so when Jodi & Denny came to pick them up on Sunday, we all headed to the apple orchard.  Even though Malea couldn’t indulge in the apples yet, she still was thrilled to be there because she loves being outside.  I had her in the Bjorn baby carrier, and her legs were constantly kicking with excitement.  It was Aubrey’s first orchard outing as well.... she seemed to be a big fan of the apples.... she gobbled them up!  Here are a few pictures from our orchard escapade. 

Later in the day I had something I needed to drop off at Mom & Dad’s place, so Malea and I made our way over there as well.  Since the weather was still so perfect, my mom and I decided to take the opportunity to snap a few outdoor pictures of Malea.  She was hamming it up.... smiling, giggling, squeaking: )  Here are a few of my favorites...

One more thing I just have to share!  When one of my best friends, Michelle, was back from China this summer, she brought back the cutest little chinese dress for Malea!  I put Malea in it last night, and she looked so darn cute, I couldn’t resist showing her off:-)  Look  how adorable this is!!!!
