One Month Old

Can you believe that Malea is already a whole month old?!  On one hand it feels like just yesterday that she was born... and on the other hand I feel like we've known her forever because I can't imagine our lives without her.  A month old and already growing and changing - where does time go??  In honor of her first month birthday, her and I braved the heat and I took her outside for a few quick pictures.  She slept the whole time, but I still managed to get a few cute ones.  Here are a few of my favorites of our little peanut....

Malea continues to be such an easy baby.  Lately I have been feeding her before bed around 10ish, then she sleeps until after 2:00!  Makes it easy on Mama.  Then after I feed her she sleeps until Daddy gets up for work.  She's still eating like a champ (and she's starting to get the chunkers to prove it: )  Joel and I took her to church for the first time this past weekend, and she did great.  Other than a few grunts and squeaks, she kept quiet through the whole mass. 

She survived a shopping trip to the Tanger outlet mall with mommy last week too!  We stopped at Kinze to surprise Grandpa Volz at work, then headed over to shop.  Her and I went to about 3 or 4 stores, I fed her and changed her in my car, then she was content for another 3 or 4 stores.  What a trooper!  My only mistake was that I left the dirty diaper in my car when we went in the second group of stores... let's just say I won't be doing that again.... UGH!  Dirty diapers in a 90 degree sweltering car is a BAD IDEA.  :o)
