A few weeks ago, our house was baby central! My roommate from college, Larissa, and her hubby, George, stopped by for a visit with their little guy, Isaac! It was so great to see them! Although they only live 2 and 1/2 hours away, last year was a busy one, and we didn't get to visit with them near as much as we would have liked. Needless to say, we were so excited they came! Isaac is a year and a half now, and so much fun... he was more interested in playing with my pots and pans than with any toys I may have had... easy kid to please: ) Look at those big blue eyes!!
The following day was a treat for us as well, because my cousin Ashlee and hubby Nic, brought Ryker over too!! He is already over 6 months old, and his smile is infectious! He is the happiest baby, and I just adore his cute little smile. We had fun playing in the basement, and visiting with Nic and Ash. Ryker just had tubes put in his ears last week, but from what I understand, he was quite the little trooper and did great! Here's a pic of the little dude in his hat we bought him for Christmas. Now see what I mean about that adorable smile?! : )
That was a fun weekend of company for Joel and I. After everybody had left, Joel said... "Man! Every baby and kid that has been in our house has been so happy and so well-behaved! Maybe it's the atmosphere of our new house... maybe it's a soothing environment... maybe our kids will be that good too!" We can only hope honey... we can only hope: )
And just when you think the cuteness can't get any cuter, along comes Sadie Susan Wycoff! Nikki (one of my cousin's in California), and hubby Matt, welcomed their first baby girl on January 24th. Sadie weighed 6lbs. 8oz and was 18" long. Now I'm just excited to plan a trip to Cali to get to meet the little sweetie! Can you get any more precious than this?!
