Nolan

I just can't believe how fast my nephews grow! It seems like yesterday that I was driving to the hospital lickity split to get my first glimpse of my very first nephew, Nolan! It's crazy to think that was FOUR YEARS AGO! He just got these pictures taken when he turned 4, and when I saw them they instantly brought tears to my eyes... I can't believe how much of a little man he has become. He looks like such a big boy! Jodi even took him to school to get his pre-school registration information, and he got to look around the school.
When it sunk in for me that he'll be going to pre-school this fall , I cried some more. I thought this sort of stuff was supposed to make mommy's and daddy's cry... not Aunt "Yai Yai's". Oh man... now I've really done it... now I'm crying again! He used to call me Aunt Yai Yai... when did he stop?!? When was the moment he was able to say "Heidi" so perfectly instead of "Yai Yai"?! When did my little boy become a little man?! Jeesh! Okay... I need to stop... sorry for that emotional breakdown: ) Nolan is such a smart little feller, and so much fun to have around. I look forward to watching him continue to grow into the great little man that he will become! And no matter how big he gets, he will ALWAYS be my "little" buddy.
