Nolan's 1st ever soccer season has come to a close. It was so much fun watching him play! When I have free time, I want to upload some of the video footage I took of him playing, because it is so cute. He really came out of his shell as the season progressed. The first game or 2, he was a little hesitant to get in the mix of 9 other swinging legs... I can't say that I blame him... I wouldn't really want to stick my leg in there either:o) There was 1 game where he ran off the field every few minutes to ask for a kleenex to blow his nose, to which Jodi answered "Just wipe it on your sleeve! Get back out there!" (Probably one of the few times you'll hear that response out of mom, right?! : ) He got better and better every game, and I got a kick out of him every time he would stop for a sec and say "I just kicked it!" I should mention that he has a star on his team that I swear could play with the 12 year olds and still score 10 goals a game, so Nolan and the rest of his team didn't get as much "ball time" as they would have hoped, but Nony definitely made the best out of every time he got to "show his stuff": ) He did a really good job and I was really impressed with how well he can "dribble"?! a soccer ball! Way to go Nolan!!! : )
