Today is officially Brayden's 3rd birthday, but we had his party on Saturday. Once again, Jodi was at her creative-best. Since Brayden is such a sweet-tooth and is ALWAYS asking for mints, chocolate, or anything sweet, Jodi decided to throw him a candy-themed birthday party. The cake, decorations, and food were all great, but the best part was the game for the kiddos (okay, I may have played too:o) It was an outdoor, life-sized version of "Candyland". The kids were the "game pieces", and Jodi had colored squares set out all the way around the house just like the game board, with various goodies along the way. The birthday boy won, and at the end of the game was a big surprise for him and the other kiddos too. So for any of you that have ever played Candyland, you know that the winner ends up at the "Candy Castle"... well, in this case, all of the kids ended up at "Brayden's Snack Shack". You definitely need to look at the pictures because it was too cute! The kids got to grab a bag and fill it full of anything they wanted from the snack shack. I never went to any party THAT cool when I was a kid: ) So anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAYDEN!
